For concrete forming applications, the 1-3/4" (44mm) pin is designed for fastening wood members up to 3/4" in thickness while the 2-1/2" (62mm) pin is designed for wood members up to 1-1/2" in thickness. The pin has a break off groove 1" from the point to allow the wood forming members to be easily removed.
